If you are using software from one of our channel partners listed above, you can order aptiQmobile credentials the same way you order plastic credentials today. It’s even through the same channel partners you’re ordering from today.

Simply include the aptiQmobile product number on your standard PO; instead of waiting days to receive your cards, you’ll receive an email that your virtual credentials are waiting for you. And you can always view your account to see how many aptiQmobile credentials you have left. Just picture all of the extra storage space you will have without stacks of cards in the back office.

Here’s how it works

  1. You already have your user’s information entered into the access control system. From your main interface, just click a box that says “make this a virtual credential”. No data re-entry!
  2. The credential will be created in the cloud, then an email sent to the user’s phone asking them to download it. Once they download the app and click “accept”, they’re ready to use it just like their ID card (picture included)!

how to get it

If your channel partner is not listed above, a web portal can be made available through your channel partner that allows you to manually enter the user and credential data. The mobile credential can then be issued to the target user mobile device. Here is the process for option B.

  1. Ask your security system integrator or channel partner to set up an aptiQmobile account for you when you order your first aptiQmobile credentials. You would order these with a PO just like you do today for physical cards.
  2. Log in to aptiQmobile.com to access your account and view your balance of credentials ready to issue.
  3. Begin by entering your users’s information, their name, email, badge ID, facility code, password, picture, etc.
  4. Once you press the “create credential” button, aptiQmobile will send an invitation to that user’s phone for them to download it.
  5. You can then input that credential into your access control system to give them access privileges, just like you normally would with a plastic ID card.
